Smashed Burger
Ingredients
- Ground beef
- Cheddar cheese
- Onion
- Iceberg lettuce
- Pickles
- Hamburger Buns
- Hamburger sauce
- Tomatoes

Instructions
- Form the ground beef into a 2" balls.
- In a pre-heated 12" Cast Iron Frying Pan add the ground beef and press it out in the pan using a spatula or a meat press.
- After 1 - 2 minutes, lower the heat to medium-low, flip the burger, add cheddar cheese, and cover with a lid until the cheese has melted, about 1 minute.
- Remove from the heat.
- Serve with lettuce, finely chopped onion, hamburger sauce, pickles, chopped tomatoes and optionally some French fries.
