Homemade Sourdough Sandwich with Sliced Hot Dog, Fried Egg & Homemade Beetroot Salad

Ingredients (makes 1 sandwich)

1 slices sourdough bread, toasted or grilled

1 hot dog, sliced

1 egg
-
1 small knob of butter

1 salad leaf

3–4 tbsp Homemade Beetroot Salad

Salt & pepper, to taste

Toast the bread: Lightly toast or grill your sourdough slices until golden and crisp.

Fry the hot dogs: Slice the hot dogs lengthwise and fry them in butter over medium heat until they’re golden and slightly crisp on the edges.

Fry the egg: In the same pan, crack an egg and fry it to your liking (sunny-side up or over-easy both work well). Season with salt and pepper.

Assemble the sandwich:

Place the salad leaf on the bottom sourdough slice.

Layer the hot dog slices on top.

Add the fried egg.

Spoon over a few generous dollops of beetroot salad.
