Forest Flame Pizza: Wild Mushrooms & Smoky Heat

Forest Flame Pizza brings together the rustic charm of wild mushrooms with a fiery kick of chili heat. Golden chanterelles, sautéed with shallots and thyme, meet smoky bacon and bubbling mozzarella on a crisp, cast-iron-baked crust. A final drizzle of garlic sauce adds velvety richness, making every bite both earthy and bold. This is pizza with a touch of the forest, kissed by a little flame.

Tomato sauce

Grated mozzarella cheese

200–300 g chanterelle mushrooms

1 shallot, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, sliced

70 g bacon
-
Fresh thyme

Butter (for frying)

Garlic sauce (for topping)

Preheat the oven to 500°F/250°C.

In a frying pan, sauté the chanterelle mushrooms and chopped shallot in butter with a pinch of fresh thyme. Set aside.

Roll out the pizza dough and place it on a cast-iron pizza pan, and spread an even layer of tomato sauce over it.

Sprinkle grated mozzarella on top, then add the bacon and jalapeño slices.

Bake the pizza for about 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven, add the sautéed chanterelle and shallots, then return to the oven for another 5 minutes.

Once baked, drizzle with garlic sauce before serving.
