Ingredients
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 yellow onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 small can of corn
- 1 pkg mixed beans
- 1 can (500 g) crushed tomatoes
- 1 red chili
- ½ red bell pepper
- ½ green bell pepper
- Oil for frying
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Water
- Creme fraiche for serving

- Dice the onion and mince the chili. Core the bell peppers and cut them into small pieces.
- In a cast iron balti dish or Dutch oven over medium heat, brown the ground beef, add the onion, chili, bell pepper, and let it cook for a few minutes.
- Add tomato paste and cook for a minute more. Stir in the remaining ingredients and let it simmer for a few minutes. Add water for a thinner soup. Taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve topped with creme fraiche and for example garlic and herbs bread.
