Marinated bean sprouts

Marinated bean sprouts are a good accessory to the food or ingredient in, for example, noodle soup or rice dishes such as bibimbap.

  • 150 g fresh bean sprouts
  • 2 l water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp roasted sesame seeds


  1. Bring the water to a boil. Add the bean sprouts and immediately drain the water and bean sprouts in a colander and rinse the bean sprouts in ice-cold water.
  2. Mix the bean sprouts with the other ingredients.
